“The traditional Apulian plate, splashed with colour drop by drop.”
Made in Cutrofiano, in the province of Lecce, by Ceramiche Colì: a 23 cm terracotta soup plate with the traditional mottled or splattered design, hand-painted on every piece.
The mottled pattern of this plate comes from the tradition of splattered Apulian ceramics: splashes and speckles of colour applied by hand, using ancient techniques passed down through generations. No two pieces are alike. It is made by Ceramiche Colì, in Cutrofiano (Lecce), a company certified ISO 14001 for environmental management.
With its 23 cm diameter and deep shape, it is the right plate for traditional Salento first courses — orecchiette, tria — and for stews. A piece that brings the timeless beauty of Apulian ceramics to the table.
| ✅ | This is MAR high-resistance pottery: dishwasher and microwave safe, more than twice as resistant as regular ceramics, without losing the shine of the glaze even after many washes. |
