Pizzaiola sauce, ready to use: tomato passata, tuna, Leccino and Cellina olives, onion, capers and extra virgin olive oil. Just heat it for 5-10 minutes to dress spaghetti, orecchiette, penne or a pizza. 320 g jar.

Which with what

Tomato and basil is the plain sauce, fine on any pasta shape and liked by children too. Arrabbiata has chilli in it: it suits short pasta — penne, mezze maniche — and spaghetti finished in the pan. Pizzaiola is more savoury, with oregano and garlic: it started as the sauce for beef alla pizzaiola, but it works just as well on pasta.

How to use them

Warm for two or three minutes in a pan with a little oil, and finish the pasta in there with a ladle of cooking water. The microwave works, but the sauce comes out flatter. Once opened, keep the jar in the fridge and use within three days.
