Brown Terracotta Pottery Glass

“Wine in a clay glass, with the blue and brown stars of Cutrofiano.”

Made in Cutrofiano, in the province of Lecce, by Ceramiche Colì: a glazed brown terracotta glass, with crystalline glaze and blue and brown star decor.

Made in Cutrofiano Dishwasher & microwave High-resistance majolica

The brown terracotta glass brings an ancient tradition of Puglia to the table: Puglian terracotta, handcrafted by master potters. It is made by Ceramiche Colì in Cutrofiano, in the province of Lecce. It combines the rustic beauty of terracotta with the elegance of its decor, and it is valued for its quality and strength.

It belongs to the Crystalline line: the brown glazed terracotta is coated with crystalline glaze, which makes it tougher, easier to clean and bright over time, while the blue and brown star decor adds a touch of refinement. Each piece is made with care, and looks just as good in everyday use as on special occasions.

✅ It is high-resistance majolica by Ceramiche Colì, the result of a state-of-the-art production process and carefully chosen raw materials: it is dishwasher and microwave safe, lasts twice as long as regular ceramics and keeps its shine even after many aggressive wash cycles.

The impact test

How tough this majolica is

1
The test
A 50 gr ball is dropped on the majolica from increasing heights.
2
Regular ceramics
They break at just 50 cm.
3
Ceramiche Colì majolica
It withstands drops from 90 cm: that is why it suits a table used every day, where knocks happen.
