Organic and Demeter

Organic and Demeter are not the same thing

Organic is the European certification: no synthetic chemicals, no genetically modified organisms, checks along the whole chain. The Demeter mark certifies biodynamic farming, which accepts all the organic rules and adds its own, on how the field and the farm are run. The products on this page carry both marks. The label shows the European organic code IT BIO 009, operator AK54, and Demeter.

What you will find here

The tomato passata is thick and fragrant, from tomatoes grown in open fields and processed in Puglia: it needs no long cooking. A 340 g jar, tomato and sea salt, nothing else.
