19 cm Splatter Glazed Terracotta Flat Plate

“Apulian splatter pottery on your everyday table.”

A 19 cm flat plate in glazed terracotta, with the characteristic mottled, or splatter, pattern of Apulian ceramics. Made by Ceramiche Colì in Cutrofiano, in the province of Lecce, in high-resistance majolica.

Made in Cutrofiano Dishwasher and microwave High-resistance majolica

The splatter glazed terracotta flat plate is a piece of the tradition of Apulian ceramics: a 19 cm plate decorated with the characteristic splatter pattern, crafted using ancient artisanal techniques that give each piece uniqueness and value. It is made for everyday use: sturdy, practical and dishwasher safe.

The spots of colour on the glaze are the mark of the traditional Apulian splatter plates of Salento: setting it on your table means laying it with a piece of the region's history and art, which is also a decorative touch. The same mottled effect runs through the whole line, from the plates to the bowls and the glass.

✅ It is a high-resistance majolica: twice as strong as regular ceramics, dishwasher and microwave safe, and it keeps its shine even after many aggressive washing cycles.

The impact test

How tough this majolica is

1
The ball
A 50 g ball is dropped onto the piece from ever greater heights.
2
Regular ceramics
They already break with a drop from 50 cm.
3
High-resistance majolica
It withstands drops from 90 cm: that is why it holds up well on the everyday table, where knocks are part of life.

At the table

Why choose it

🎨

🍽️
Every day
A sturdy plate for daily use, not just for special occasions.
🧽
Dishwasher
High-resistance majolica does not lose its shine, even with aggressive washing.
🥣
Matching set
It pairs with the bowls, plates and glass of the same mottled line, for a fully Apulian table.
