Apulian craftsmanship finds one of its most loved expressions in the glazed ceramic owl. Each piece takes shape in the hands of local artisans, who have passed down for generations the art of giving life to these sinuous forms with nothing but their hands and their passion: no two owls are ever alike.
They are made in a pottery workshop active since 1650, where each piece is still modelled and decorated by hand today. It is the skill in working the clay and combining the glazes that makes every owl a small, unique piece.

What is the difference between a small and a large owl?
Below 10 cm the wings are attached to the body; from 10 cm up they are detached. The product photo shows the 12 cm size.
