The Puglian ceramic balloons are among the most original and cheerful expressions of the craftsmanship of Grottaglie, Laterza and Cutrofiano. Hand-painted and bursting with colour, they are perfect to hang on the wall as decoration or to give as favours for weddings, baptisms and confirmations.
Every ceramic balloon is wheel-thrown and hand-glazed, the fruit of a centuries-old tradition passed down from generation to generation. You will never find two that are identical.

How to use it
How to hang the balloon on the wall
On the back of the balloon — in the slightly flattened section — there is a small hole. Simply insert a small nail into the wall and rest the balloon on it. No special fixings or tools required.

— For extra stability you can use a small L-shaped screw — but it is not necessary

You can get a quote yourself by adding sizes and quantities to the cart — the discounted total is calculated automatically. Please note: we only supply the ceramic object, not the preparation of ceremony gift packaging.
🎁 Gift packaging
Balloons are packed for shipping, not for ceremony. We offer recycled cardboard boxes (shipped flat inside the parcel) from €0.80 to €4 depending on the size.
It is possible to add customisations to the balloons (logos, text, initials) from a minimum of 30 pieces. The cost is approximately €0.80–1.00 per customisation.
For special text or custom work please contact us before ordering — we will assess feasibility and any additional lead times together.

📏 How is the balloon measured?
The size is measured by the total length of the object, from the knot at the bottom to the top of the balloon.
📐 Are the dimensions precise?
No, and they cannot be: every balloon is handmade. There may be a variation of about 1 cm more or less — this is not a flaw, it is a feature. It is proof that every piece is unique.
🕛 What are the lead times?
If the balloon is in stock it is dispatched normally. If not, it is made for you: wheel-throwing + drying + glazing in 7–15 working days. Your order will show status “In production” and we will update you by email.
🎨 Can I choose colours beyond the main selection?
Yes. Consult the colour chart on this page. Add quantities to the cart and communicate the colours in the NOTES field at checkout.
❓ Are there other sizes beyond those shown?
All available sizes are in the “Select height/size” menu on the product page.
📦 How are they shipped?
Each balloon is individually wrapped in bubble wrap and packed securely in the shipping box.
💥 What if they arrive broken?
In the unfortunate event that a balloon arrives broken, we will reship it at our expense.
