The farmer's box is a selection of fresh vegetables, chosen according to the season and to what the field offers at that moment. Inside you'll find 4 to 6 kinds of vegetables, and every box is a bit of a surprise: you never know exactly what will arrive.

That's the beauty of it: each time you discover new flavours and the produce of the moment, without having to worry about the shopping. If you have preferences, write them in the order notes: if they're available, we'll put them in your box.

In the fields

Grown without herbicides

Our vegetables grow in fields where no herbicides are used: wild grass grows freely around the crops, the natural way.

The crops move from season to season, so the soil keeps its properties and doesn't get exhausted. It's the farmer's way of working, following the rhythm of the land.

Autumn and winter

From October to February: turnips or turnip tops (cime di rapa), fennel, chicory or puntarelle, chard, Savoy cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and cabbage.

In the summer months: tomatoes, various kinds of peppers, cauliflower, green beans, aubergines and courgettes.

🌱	Always 4 to 6 kinds of vegetables, chosen from those above according to the harvest and what's available at the time: not all of them in the same box.

Preparation

Only the part you need

The vegetables are carefully prepared before they leave, so they arrive fresh and without useless bulk. One example: the artichoke is shipped with its head and part of the stem, without the extra leaves and without the long stalk.

That way the space in the box goes to vegetables, not waste, and the weight you receive matches what you expect.

What's in the vegetable box?

Can I choose the vegetables?

How are the vegetables grown?

In fields where no herbicides are used, letting wild grass grow around the crops, and moving the crops from season to season.

Why does the artichoke come without its long stalk?

The vegetables are prepared before shipping: we keep the artichoke head with part of the stem, without extra leaves, so the box isn't filled with waste.
