This is the story of two brothers, Torquato and Rocco, from the Parisi family. Since 1876, for 145 years, they have transformed squares into festive scenes, illuminating ideas, spaces, and art. Their company, Parisi 1876, has deep roots in Puglia, in Taurisano, where the air is pure, and the people are as welcoming as they are hardworking. Their great-great-grandfather Sabino Parisi obtained a contract from the Municipality of Taurisano to decorate the streets and squares of the village in honor of the Patron Saint Stefano, signing a deed dated 1876. Since then, creative minds and skilled hands have festively adorned the streets and squares of Salentine villages and beyond, with representations and forms inspired by Baroque, Gothic, and Greek styles.
